Tamatave or "Toamasina" is the second largest city in Madagascar located in the East. It is characterized by its port (our international port). He passes there around 70 boats per month, which supply the domestic markets with foreign products and leave full of exotic flavor products to the external markets.
Capital of the Betsimisaraka "the many inseparable", Tamatave is today populated by many indigenous and foreign populations. Europeans, Asians and natives mix there and give it a cosmopolitan air.
The local population is a merchant and fisherman population as can only be found in ports. Very pleasant, the merchants know how to sell and it is sometimes difficult for us to resist the temptation of all these spices and other crafts that invade the markets.
