1) HOME – ANTANANARIVO

Arrival at Ivato Airport. Welcoming at the airport with our representative and transfer to your hotel located in the center of Antananarivo. Antananarivo is the capital city of Madagascar and the largest city on this big island in the Indian Ocean. Overnight at BELVEDERE

2) ANTANANARIVO – ANTSIRABE

After Breakfast. Drive till Antsirabe, the thermal city on the national road N°7. Along the way, you will travel across the typical landscape of the highland, rocky hill, savanna, terraced rice field, and large orchard. First stop in Ambatolampy for visiting the workshop of the pot foundry. Lunch in your charge along the road. Continuation till the city of Antsirabe,
famous its rick show. Overnight at H1.

3) ANTSIRABE – BETAFO – AMBOSITRA

After Breakfast. We are going to discover the daily life of Malagasy people at Betafo with our local guide. This walk in the locality of Betafo will allow us to discover the human aspects (habits and customs, traditions, daily activities ...) as well as the physical aspects (landscape ...) of the region. In a word, it is a circuit that "sums up" the Malagasy highlands. After
our visit, we continue to Ambositra. Overnight at GRAND HOTEL.

4) AMBOSITRA – IFASINA (ZAFIMANIRY)– AMBOSITRA

After a good night and delicious breakfast, we will join the village of Antoetra. We leave our car here and start our trekking to the village of Ifasina about 10 kms. We may spend four or five hours of walking according to your rhythm. It is the nearest Zafimaniry village so it has a very touristy side. If you are a good walker, we can continue to the village of Sakaivo. It’s
a big trek about 28kms with 10h of trekking. It needs a good physical condition. We will arrive at Ambositra at the end of the evening. Overnight at GRAND HOTEL.

5) AMBOSITRA – FIANARANTSOA

Breakfast and we continue to Fianarantsoa, the city of Betsileo’s tribe. The city extends over three floors. With its traditional houses, its many churches and wine culture, many visits are available to you. A real road junction, it is located on the Road National N°7 on 400 kms away from Antananarivo in the heart of the south-east region. Overnight at VILLA SYLVESTRE.

6) FIANARANTSOA

It is a sequence of an excursion in pirogue and walk in the villages Betsileo. We join the village of Mahasoabe, located at around twenty kilometers on the East of Fianarantsoa. We start our descent of the Matsiatra River with traditional dugout canoes for about 2h30. This descent will allow us to discover the local life of the peasants and their habits and
customs. Arrival at the Village of Iseta and after a half hour of walking through fields and villages, we take our vehicle to Sahambavy. Visit the tea plantation. Overnight at LAC SAHAMBAVY.

7) FIANARANTSOA – TSARANORO VALLEY (AMBALAVAO)

After breakfast. A city tour of Fianarantsoa which is full of treasures of the past, it was for a long time the city of education. Indeed, many intellectuals live there. Besides the cultural and religious aspect, the city is also known for its gastronomy. Continuation till the village of Ambalavao where we visit the workshop of the mythic Anteimoro paper and Malagasy
handmade embroideries. Continuation to the Tsaranoro, located at the beautiful valley behind the Andringitra massif. Overnight at TSARA SOA.

8) TSARANORO VALLEY (AMBALAVAO)

This circuit begins with a walk passing through fields of cassava and paddy fields. You will pass by the village of Andonaka and can visit the school of Tsaranoro. We can admire the lemurs eat ficus fruit or play on the rocks. The sacred forest is also a place where you will find many Bara and Betsileo tombs. We will continue through rice terraces, and then join
the track that leads to the camp Tsarasoa. Overnight at the same hotel.

9) TSARANORO VALLEY (AMBALAVAO) – RANOHIRA

After a good night and a breakfast, we leave the village of Tsaranoro and join the RN7, continue to Ranohira. Overnight at ISALO RANCH.

10) RANOHIRA

Day devoted to the discovery of Isalo National Park, an area of outstanding natural 81.540ha where wind and water have carved world alien forms. While following a well-marked path on earth and rock, you continue your trip to the natural pool situated into the deep canyons. The Park has a separate ecosystem. There are naturally carved monuments such as the
Window, the Boot, the Wolf, the Queen ... natural pools and waterfalls Overnight at ISALO RANCH.

11) RANOHIRA – AMBOSITRA

After your breakfast, you will return to the highland with the same way. Stop at Ambositra. Ambositra is notably known for being the capital of Malagasy craftsmanship; it is renowned for marquetry and woodcarving. Overnight at GRAND HOTEL.

12) AMBOSITRA – ANTANANARIVO

After breakfast, a short city tour of Ambositra, then continuation to Antananarivo, passing again the City of Antsirabe. Arrival in Antananarivo at the end of the afternoon. Transfer at hotel. Overnight at BELVEDERE.

13) ANTANANARIVO : AMBOHIMANGA HILL

This day is devoted of the discovery of Ambohimanga Hill. With our historian guide, we are going to discover the history of the Merina tribe dynasty, followed by lunch. Finally, admire the folk songs by the local People. Return to Antananarivo. Overnight at BELVEDERE.

After breakfast, visit of the handcraft market “la Digue” and purchase of a Souvenir of Madagascar before flight to go back home.
